Users and providers of services
The users of our services are children, adolescents and adults with moderate, severe and profound disorders in their physical and mental development. Their abilities, needs and additional disturbances differ greatly, and they partially or entirely depend on assistance from others. They need professional guidance to be able to develop basic skills and competences as well as acquire and maintain knowledge and habits essential for everyday life. Experts in specific fields of education participate in the development and maintenance of their mental and physical competences (a specialized and rehabilitation teacher, a social pedagogue, a physical education teacher, an art teacher ...), an occupational therapist, a physiotherapist, a psychologist, a social worker, a computer scientist, a librarian, an occupational trainer, a nurse and a caregiver. External staff - medical specialists like a paediatrician, a dentist, an orthopaedist, a paedopsychiatrist and a psychiatrist - participates in the comprehensive treatment.
Our centre covers the needs for institutional care of children and adults in the Celje region.
