The centre for care and occupational activity acts as an organisational unit within the Education, Work and Care centre Dobrna. It provides social care services of guidance, care and employment under specific conditions.
The social care service is intended for adults with disorders in mental development and for adults with multiple disorders.
Users can avail themselves of this service by concluding a written agreement on the basis of a submitted application and available vacancies. The number of vacancies is determined by the Ministry of Labour, Family and Social Affairs.
The scope and the forms of work are adjusted to the needs and interests of an individual and enable the maintenance of acquired skills and knowledge as well as the development of new competences.
We design products made of clay and wood, we sew and embroider, we screen print, make paper and greetings cards, we cultivate our herb garden and prepare not only tea mixtures, but also herb soap, herb bath and candles.
The centre for care and occupational activity has been operational since 2005 when the first five users joined the workshops at Lokovina 11. At present, it comprises two work units: Work unit Centre for care and occupational activity Dobrna and Centre for care and occupational activity Vojnik.
The Work unit Centre for care and occupational activity Vojnik was opened in the municipality of Vojnik in October 2010.

- manufacture of handmade paper and products,

- domestic work.

- preparation of wood and wood programme,
- green / seasonal programme,
- washing and folding of dishcloths and towels,
